Setting up an Orange M5000 with TT5.21

Hi. Can someone point me in the direction of a good clear guide in setting up a BT77 GPS receiver with this superb PDA please? It's all the COM port settings that confuse me?
The program is installed, the receiver is paired, it's the remainder that is giving me grief.

Cracked it. Wouldn't work with COM0 so changed port to COM4, selected COM4 in TomTom and hey presto, signals!!
Can get home now.......
