Okay, can one or some of you give some guidance here as I have got myself totally confused.

I have:

An HP Ipaq 5450
TTN II (NON Bluetooth)

I understand which proclip I require for my Vectra but not what mount??

I have the cable that came with TTN that goes to the GPS reciver and into the Cigar Lighter Socket with the cable that sits in the bottom of the PDA.

Do Brodit do a mount that allows me to power the 5450 and give it the GPS input??? If so which one, please.

Also and this is very important to me, as you all know the speaker on the 5450 is akin to a handbrake on a battleship, so to hear my Routes and Gatso warning I want to to be able to get a 3.5mm jack into the bottom. As I have an aux input into my Headunit or for if I want to listen to the radio I want to link it to a scanner/CB mini speaker. BUT looking at (not seen in the flesh only pics) the Brodit mount it looks as though it will completely cover the 3.5mm socket which is rather inconvienently on the bottom left of the 5450!! Is it accessable or will I need to drill it out (not my prefered choice after spending £49 on one!!!!)

Any help or suggestions greatefully recieved :D

many thanks in advance Thumbs Up

The best mount would be the Brodit with Sync Plug, see our review here http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/broditsyncmount.php

This mount replicates the sync port on the bottom so you just connect your TomTom GPS to the bottom of the mount and power and data are passed through to the 5450.

I've just looked at mine and on the left side Brodit channelled out a small section to allow access to the headphone socket on the 54xx/55xx range.

Hope this helps :P
