Can anyone help please.

I am looking for a solution that will allow me to use a PDA (Pocket PC) which will cover roads, walking as well as marine charts. Does anyone have any experiance of something that covers that.

Or is this a case of using TomTom for roads and another solution for Marine GPS

cheers

Geoff

Geoff,
I used my ipaq 3950 with TTN5 and Solent Racemarks added as POI's. But as I was actually racing for 5 days, its NOT the best combination. I'd keep the two tasks apart. TomTom for roads, and a Garmin GPS or similar for Marine work. Waterproof bags are available for both, but a Garmin type of unit is available 'waterproofed'.
Happy sailing !

Yes, its the iQue M4.

This is BlueChart compatible, but at a price. But for cruiser/sailing for leisure its not to bad, plus you have the advantage of using the iQue as a road navigation tool aswell.
