I've recently received my new Axim x5/tomtom bundle. Included in the car kit is a cable with an RJ11 plug on one end and a dc power plug on the other end. I can't figure out what this cable is for. Any suggestions |

If you have the car kit, from what I understand (and haven't seen one myself), you have to use the TomTom Navigator mouse with the car kit. So you plug the mouse (which has an RJ11 plug on it) into the back of the car kit, and I think you may have a different charger cable that plugs into the back of the mount. |

Thanks Dave
I have the navigator mouse with the RJ11 plug, the power cable with the cigarette lighter plug and a power cable with bare wires for direct connection to the 12v system, but there is also this fourth cable as described. The dc power plug does not fit the car mount connection but it does fit the Axim x5 input socket and the cradle socket and other than charging a spare battery in the cradle from the car mount I can't think of any other use for this - I would have preferred a cable which connected the GPS to the PDA while out of the car |
