520 satellite reception problems?

Hello folks,
I am considering getting a Navman 520 (best price I've found so far - £170) - but I just wondered what experience people had had with its satellite reception? I saw some comments online suggesting that it wasn't very good at picking them up...

Also, I'd welcome any other comments about the 520 or other products in that kind of price bracket - this will be my first GPS system, so it's all a bit new to me.

it was taking me a good 5/10 mins to get a lock on the signal from the sats, so i bought an Antenna & now get a lock on the sats within 40ish seconds from cold.

We see you’re using an ad-blocker. We’re fine with that and won’t stop you visiting the site.
Have you considered making a donation towards website running costs?.
Or you could disable your ad-blocker for this site. We think you’ll find our adverts are not overbearing!
