Can anyone tel me what im doing wrong , im trying to delete addresses from my street pilot i3 , after deleting i get the deleted address answer but they are still on the unit , suggestions ?

Welcome to the forum Steve,

Are you refering to Recent Finds Question

You are doing nothing wrong dispite the message you see regarding the deletion you can not in fact delete. These are overwritten automaticaly after 25 entries.
If you want to get rid of them then erase all user data, with unit off press and hold right hand button, now thumbwheel and finally right hand button (all three buttons are now pressed together) select yes on the question and there gone. Go through the settings to ensure the unit is as you require (will have been set to factory default).
Remember that any favorites you have created will be removed from the unit using this method you can back these up using the software at http://www.easygps.com/download_xp.asp and reload them to your I3.
