Have just purchased a Streetpilot 510D which has a GTM 21 TMC Receiver included in the package, the Strretpilot works OK but I am unable to see any traffic information:
The message on the Streetpilot when the 'Traffic' button is pressed is 'Please connect the traffic receiver to the Streetpilot'.
The GTM 21 which is a combined 12V power lead and TMC unit has a green light lit but has a second light which is unlit.
I am in West Yorkshire and receive traffic messages from as far as Manchester, so presume the signal strength should be OK.
Any Suggestions ?. |

Mine's OK, both green lights lit and TMC received.
If one light is working then the fuse must be OK. T
he connector only fits one way up in to the back of the C510D, it takes about a minute or 2 at the outside to pick up traffic news on mine - down here in Gloucestershire. |

Thanks for the info, as there are no user instructions for the GTM 21 it is hard to determine which lights should be lit.
Left the unit on for 4 hours, no change.
I have searched for radio stations(on the web) in my area which transmit TMS data, definately Classic FM, so I should be getting a signal. |

Trafficmaster use a whole range of radio stations, except Classic. Garmin use Trafficmaster, so the one station you do not want your Garmin tuned to is Classic FM
Where are you searching for this information? |

Searched on various sites.
Have received a full refund from retailer today following contact with Garmin who confirmed faulty unit. |
