Hoping someone can help. Notified today by e mail of latest software update for my Nuvi 300, using the Garmin upload software all was going well until I pressed yes on my Nuvi to update the software. Now my screen shows SYSTEM SOFTWARE MISSING. I dis take the precaution of backing up my Nuvi files but my PC running XP cannot recognise my Nuvi because it cannot find an appropriate driver. Nuvi will not load from SD card either!

The same thing has happened to me and I haven't backed anything up - help!!! |

| I've spoken to Garmin this morning - we are not alone, this seems to be a problem with the update as they are taking a number of calls. As soon as I have the proposed solution tried tested and hopefully succesful I'll post it. |
