Downgrading Firmware

I bought myself a nice TTG500 now they're relativly cheap!... and the Firmware was (I think) v5.202 which I've recently upgraded to v5.440...

Before the upgrade my Mobile (SE W800i) worked nicely!... Never dropped its Bluetooth connection!... Now after the upgrade it keeps dropping the Bluetooth after 20-30mins!... and the only way to get it back is to reboot the Tomtom...

I've had a chat on 'Mytomtomgo' and someone else had the exact problem and suggested (as he did) downgrading to the old firmware!...

My question is (and I've asked there too!!)...

How do I downgrade back to v5.202 (or even give v5.420 a go as I have every firmware from v5.200)

Do I just run the update program (for which ever Firmware) and it will work!...

or failing that if I go back to v5.202 do I just:

Run the CD that came with the TT

or just Restore the Backup I took before upgrading!?!?..

I'm realy getting myself all confused!!!...

I just want to be able to use my TT as a handsfree with out any problems!..
