5550 Sound is quiet

Hi,

I have been using a friends 3970 and have just finally purchased my own machine, and I went for the 5550. Awsome machine!

I use Tom tom Bluetooth navigator, which works fine (except for the known auto connect BT problem) but the voice is a lot quieter than on the 3970. I have installed the English (Loud!) version and still no difference.

Anyone experienced this or (please dont tell me) I have a duff 5550?

5000 range iPAQ's do have quiet speakers compared to the 3000 series iPAQs. The best way is to connect it to a car stereo if you're using it in-car, or take a powered speaker with you.
