Help with the iCN 550 please?

I have followed the instructions given for installation very carefully and
the smartST desktop says the software has installed correctly onto the icn
550 but i cant find it on the unit at all, its not in any of the navman
menu`s or listed in any of the POI`s its just nowhere

Ive now re installed this five times following the instructions very
carefully each time and to be honest its so easy you cant really go wrong
but its always with the same results, installation succesful but its nowhere
to be found

Can anyone help?

Have you coupled the unit direct to a PC USB port? if you are connecting through a hub this could cause the problem, I have seen this on a number of different hardware platforms, not too sure if it is applicable in you case, but it might be worth a try - Mike
