Damn! I was connecting up my I3 to run off the car lighter when i pushed it in The wee conector bit inside the unit Broke off and fell inside it! so i took the cover off it to see if I could re attach it but no luck! Now I can't update it or run it off the mains  ! I've had it for about 6 mnths |

Phone Garmin UK - they've replaced units for less before.

Quick update
I finaly got round to calling Gramin. Good thing its my day off then! the guy just said to send it back to them with the returns number he gave me! So i'm just back from the post office sending it away spoecil delivery! |

Was it a warrantee job, or did you have to pay for the repair?
Glad you got it sorted either way, thanks to your post, I'm now very cautious about how I plug the lead in.
