How do I view the full address or place name?Go 700

Please can you tell me how I can view the full street name when it runs off of the edge of the screen, as sometimes there are more than one address or place with the same name at the beginning and i cannot tell which is which.

What a brilliant question, I only ever think about that when I'm sat in the car looking at the screen, thinking "I must ask about that"

I guess I'm dumb but i found the answer in another forum. Thanks Sniff.
Just hold your finger on it and the font will shrink to show you the full name. Then slide your finger off the name if you don't want to select it

Just select either one, as it doesn't make any difference. I usually select the top one.

The problem can happen when, for example, you want to go to 100, Station Road, Some Borough, London, AB12CD

If you start by entering London and then Station Road, you will be presented with a number of Station Roads. You then have to scroll down to the one you want.

Instead first enter Some Borough, then Station Road.

You may see two or three if there are a number of postcodes in that road but just ignore it and select the top one and then enter the road number. Whether you select the first or subsequent ones won't matter, there will only be one number 100 Station Road.

The same for Liverpool or Birmingham etc., enter the district of the town/city, rather than the town/city.

The usual problem arises when there is no house number, just a name. Then you'll need to go to postcode search to get you close.
