Got a phone call and email from ALK telling me that the new patch will be available for download in 2/3 weeks. It was claimed that the patch will deal with routing, fat finger problems. Hope that this time he was right.

Whether it does might well depend on the definition of "routing" that the ALK agent had in mind. If what is meant is that the "Advanced" settings will no longer be lost, then, yes, I too at least hope that it will be fixed by the patch. If however, it means that the settings will work to some describable logic and that Shortest and Quickest routes will be reasonably close to literally that, then, from past experience, that seems very much to be a hope too far.
