Hi,
I have TOMTOM nav 5 running on a SPV M2000 and want to run it on my new Orange m600. Trouble begins as I put in the SD card and nothing happens. I have contacted TT and they were rude and helpless telling me it is not supported. I also contacted PDA Mods where it came from and not much help here either. I have heard of other people running it. Can someone please help me?
Cheers

For a start download the TTNvs5,21 update from www.tomtom.com this will install to a WM2005 equipped device, once this is loaded you will need to activate the map on the unit, which is a simple procedure to do. Once you get this far pair up your GPS unit (assume its Bluetooth, as I don't think a wired one will work), when you have added the GPS don't forget that on WM2005 you need to go to the com ports tab and add new connection, chose the outgoing port. Now you should be able to fire up and use TomTom on the new toy - Mike

I have now managed to get TT5.2 working on my orange M600, with bluetooth GPS from ebay. Eventually got them linked, and Maps in correct place. Voila it now works a reral treat.
Mind you its taken 2 weeks to get to this point!!!

Andy, you will get loads more of useful advice and tips etc. from the site, so keep coming back and read up on the software - the best tip is to get the Speed Camera database loaded onto the unit and configured corectly with spoken alerts for the type of camera and applicable speed limit - well worth the effort.

Second tip is to back up your unit fully more so now it working correctly, if it hasn't been delivered with a back-up software try Sprite back-up, then when it all goes wrong (as they do at the most inopertune time and location) you can restore the entire device in one easy click - Mike
