C310 and AppleMac ?

Bought a C310 in a hurry. Pleased with what it does but appear to be b******* for downloads as we run an Apple G4 TigerO/S. Am I correct in thinking that Garmin are working on Apple support for release at the end of 2006 ?

Was surprised the other day when it told me of speed cameras ahead. ! Will it have a data base of all cameras or do I have to download from this site ? and can I without the drivers on the CDrom installed ?
