Sorry if i place this in the wrong forum, i very new to this.

I have just purchased a dell x51v and arkon mount with speaker.
I have a mobile which i have paired with the pda. I also noted that the pda has a mic.

My question is there a way i can use the pda as a handfree unit for the phone when im driving?

Thank you very much guys. John

The answer is probably yes but as I don't know the pda I can't help with how you do it. I can confirm that my A201 works as a handsfree with my Nokia but it isn't a great solution as too much background noise is picked up by the microphone on the pda. I find a bluetooth headset much easier and clearer, although the gps instructions can be a distraction if you are speaking whilst driving.

It is highly unlikely with X51.
I would have said no but these days anything is possible though may not be practical.

Of course as the friend above stated it is possible with A201. Even with that he found that not a good solution (it is a special feature with A201).

So I would suggest you give up the idea.
