Non BT data logger required - advice please!

Hi,
I hope that this a suitable forum.
I want a GPS data logger as follows.
Not BT. (any of CF SD, USB, serial would do for data d/l later on to PC or PPC)
Does not require a PPC or PC to be connected for the actual data capture.
Pocket sized.
Battery powered.
Capable of capturing GGA at 1 sec rate.
To be used in the cockpit of a fast jet - that's why I want it to be as passive as possible.

I have assumed that when a device is quoted as saving 50,000 points it means that at this 1 sec rate it could capture for 50k/60x60 hours? Or are they some sort of way point? I'd want 3 hrs worth.

I've come across one or two 'no name' mfs in the US (with all due respect) but cannot establish what sort of data they actually export post capture or at what rate.

Anyone advise please?

Further to my last -
I should have added -
NMEA format was implied (capture and export)
Altitude up to 40,000 ft if possible, speed 1000 knots (BlueLogger does this)

Handhelds look as though they may be an answer - but the Garmin and Magellan sites (and their user manuals) are a bit light on tech' spec details.
