Via Michelin Navigation companion for Tungsten Tx

Hello everybody,
I recently bought Navigation Companion (version 4.1) for my tungsten Tx. Right from the first week, I am running into problems. I did not realise this did not have a 7 digit post code search. But that is the least of my problems.

Right in the first week, a message came up on my tungsten saying "card error"but then it got rectified. A week later the same message came up and I could not activate GPS again. I got in touch with customer support, they advised me to delete the software in my Tungsten and PC and format the card and reload it afresh. I did this in my spare Sd card this worked. But then it does not have POI any more!!!
Problem no2, with my original card what ever I do, I cant get the card working. It keeps saying"card error"and advises me to reinstall the whole thing, which I have done many times. Several phone calls to via michelin support have been in vain.

Can some one advise me
a. what I should do to get the POIs in the card
b. What should I do to get the original sd card running again?
