My HX4700 sometimes starts TT5.21 when I start the pda or put it in the usb/power cradle. Only sometimes. I always exit TT5 via the red button. How do I stop it starting TT5 at that moment. |

Just guessing here. I would recon that something is refreshing your memory card. In doing so the OS sees the "2577" folder on the card. This folder is responsible for the Tomtom startup when the card is first inserted. By simply renaming this folder ("2577.") the auto run on insertion is defeated and so may solve your issue. |

Thanks Mullet. I have renamed it and noted that the Start program does not run - the start sound was an indication of my problem. So I guess you may have cracked it. (Only time will tell)
Incidentally, I guess I have now lost the autorun on inserting the SD card. Anything else?
Thanks |

Nice tip Mullet! I have just Recieved A Mio A701 & I had the same problem as Andyq. I have renamed the "2577" folder as you suggested & TT5 does not fire up unless I activate it. I Surpose to re-activate it you just rename it 2577 as the original folder & TT5 would start up again? |
