Hi
I've been out of things for a while. I missed out on the upgrade fom version 2.0 to 5.0
I've now found my software key. Does anyone know if it's too late to get a discounted upgrade? Do I have to face full price or do Tom Tom sometimes do deals? |

That expired after 6 months, but a new version is due in the next couple of months which may allow you to upgrade from V2.

go and have a look at the map purchase pages on tt you may be able to buy a map and download navigator 5 from tt
you will find them located in the plus section of tomtom's website
you pay for the map the software is a free update
i dont know if you have to have version 5 to start with but its worth a look

Doesn't work like that unfortunately.
I've purchased the latest UK map, and TT5 won't activate unless you've got the original UK map installed alongside the new Plus map.
Looks like TomTom put in safeguards so people couldn't smaller chreaper maps and have TomTom for next to nothing. |
