I have asked tomtom to swap my product over from my old ipaq 6515 to my new xda mini s. Anyone any idea how long they take?

depends on what details you have provided them.
Why can't you just create a new activation code with your productcode.
You can do a second activation after 7 days, and a 3rd after 180 days. Exactly for your purpose. No need to contact TomTom for that.
If you have exceeded the 3 activations in 180 days, then you need to tell TomTom why (repair details, theft, etc) _________________ GO1005

I can't work this out. I put my product code in and it comes up with 2 device codes, one of them being my old one the other is not familliar to me. Am I missing something? _________________ o2 XDA Stellar

I have emailed them a copy of my reciept from o2, and my product and device number.
They initially replyed quite fast but I quess because it is now the weekend they will be out of the office.

No. That suggests it has been activated twice already. Have you installed it on another device or perhaps the software was secondhand? _________________ Darren Griffin |

Good news. Rang tomtom this morning and they sorted it all for me.
My advice to anyone who has this problem is make sure you email them with your proof of purchase then follow up with a phone call. _________________ o2 XDA Stellar
