GPS settings on TT5(210)

I have just upgraded to TT5.21 from TT3.??? and I cant get the GPS to work. I know TT5.21 is getting quite a few negative comments but I really needed the new road maps rather than the old TT3 ones.

I am runnign a Holux CR-100 that I can get the GPS data on via GPS Viewer. The datat is streamed via Com 1 at 4800. The GPS settings on TT5 are slightly new to me (with TT3 I just palced it in the holder and everything worked!). I have tried Other NMEA Gps and TT cable GPS, set the baud rate to 4800 and then chosing 'Serial cable on COM1:' I still get nothign.

Can some help with this as i am off on Friday for a 2,000+ drive across Europe (another reason for wanting the newer maps) on friday!

OK it looks like it's sorted now.

It will ONLY pick up teh GSP signal if the iPAQ is already ni teh cradle and then the cradle switched on. If it's palced in a powered up cradle it just cant ever find it.
