TT5 WORKING WITH FACTORY FITTED BLUETOOTH IN CAR

I have a car with factory fitted bluetooth. Will TT5 work through it and if so how do I do it please?

I suspect it will depend upon what PDA you have TT5 on and what OS system it uses. For example Palm OS does not support multiple BT connections so if your sat nav receiver is also BT you wont be able to have both on at the same time.

I assume the BT kit is intended for a mobile phone? It too may only be able to have one BT pairing active at a time, in which case its either phone or TT5. If it supports multiple connections it may work - the best way is to just try to pair it with your PDA - if its PPC go into the BT manager menu and look for something like "pair new device" and see what happens - you will also need to check the instructions for your car kit to see how that pairs.

I have similar, but not original manufacturer's kit - a Parrot CK3300 combined BT car kit and sat nav receiver and it works well with my Ipaq 6340, which is a combined PDA and phone. So it is possible, but .........
