Which is the best PDA nav software for use in Australia?? Copilot, Destinator, or Smart ST v3??
Also, does Haicom's range of sirf3 CF GPS receivers support WAAS??

You can now also include TomTom Navigator 5 as well. Thumbs Up
Although at €249 (approximately £171.14) it’s a little expensive. Sad

Anybody know if you can get Australian TTNav5 cheaper?

Regards,

I'm not including TTN on my list as they don't seem to have a standalone nav software for pocket pcs with Oz maps.

Hi clarence

If you click on the above link, i.e. TomTom Navigator 5, you’ll see the Compatibility list:

TomTom website wrote:
Compatibility

TomTom
NAVIGATOR 5

TomTom
GO, GO 300, GO 500, ONE

TomTom
RIDER

TomTom Navigator 5 is the PocketPC version. Thumbs Up

You insert the SD card into your PocketPC and it'll self-install. If your PocketPC doesn’t have an SD Card slot, then you can use a card reader/writer to copy the contents of the TomTom Australia SD card to a storage card that your PocketPC will accept.

Regards,

What I mean is u must first buy TomTom with UK map, & then get the Oz map as an add-on, rather than just TomTom with Oz map but nothing else.
