Hello to everyone,
I hope someone will be able to come up with an answer for my particular problems. During the last few days I have noticed that the vehicle position indicator on the route map is slow to update, roughly 10 - 15 second delay in updating the position on the map where before it was a smooth continuous update as the vehicle moved along the planned route. I have a full satilite fix during all journey.
When I got home I deleted all unnecessary POI's from TOMTOM, soft reset my IPAQ several times, made sure no other programs were running in the bacfkground etc. The other problem is I have installed "The White Van Man Voice" (well I like it) and every time I have to go into Tom Tom and select the voice, it will not stay as the default voice?

Any help willbe gratefully recieved

Regards

Mac

How do you mean deleted POIs?

Try disabling them ("hide all POIs"). You can keep camera warnings by using the "Warn when near" facility in "Manage POIs".

Within the "Change Prefernces"menu in TomTom page 2 of 6 "manage POI" there is an option to delete an entire category of POI's, which is what I did specifically all the LPG F and LPG NF POI's and some of the traffic ones as well. While I was out again today I tested the TomTom software again and it does seem to upfate the cars position on the map abit quicker ....maybe 5 seconds or so but its still not like it was when I upgraded from TT3 to TT5

maybe I'll try a faster SD card and see how that goes.

Cheers for the reply though
