As a newby to this site can any body tell me how to change or edit the original poi on the tomtom go 300 updated to ver 5.420. One of the Poi listed as SHOP only has Partco I would like to add to this file & remove the useless Partco Autoparts which it seems to be full of any help or pointers will be appreciated. Question

thanks for the info followed your links but not sure which files to download when you get to the site ( Iam using winxp ) not sure If I can do this seems a bit complicated Crying or Very sad

also both need the same name eg.. asda ov2 and asda bmp ov2 is is the data and bmp is the image then both need to go into the map eg greatbritain map

It's the poi.dat file that he is trying to edit. The ov2 files are complied together to make up the poi.dat and the icons appear to be written into the code.
I am no programmer by any stretch of the imagination, here's where I sourced the info http://www.licour.com/
