Unable to save GPS Tracks

I have been unable to save gps tracks since upgrading to version 6. I have tried all of the available menus but can not see any available options to turn tracking on only to open saved demo files. Please could some one help me with this.

I think you will find that all of your GPS tracks are on your SD card under:
\Storage Card\my documents\gpstracks

Unfortunately, CP by default browses to another "GPSTracks" folder that is always empty.

The generation of GPS Tracks is automatic, in fact I don't know how to turn it off. You get one file per day.

Reminder: to avoid filling up your SD card you need to periodically remove the large GPSTracks files that can accumulate. The easy way to do this is via CP desktop menu, "GPS, submit GPS tracks". This will automatically find and transfer to PC, zip, and email the bundle back to CP, who alleges that they will go back to the mapping source to assist corrections.

You have the option of keeping the submitted tracks on the PC. I suggest keeping them. See other thread on how to display them in GoogleEarth.
