Dear all,

I've been a user of TT5 and XDA2 for a while with no problems. I've now replaced the XDA2 with an XDA2i and cannot get TT5 to work at all. It installs fine and I can pair the bluetooth GPS receiver (BT device) ok but I do not pick up a GPS signal.

I've tried all the COM ports and none work. I've also tested the receiever on another XDA2 and it works ok. I've removed O2 Active and disabled incoming beams.

Please can anyone help? Thanks.

Kev, welcome, in TT go to the GPS page, top RH does the blue/ yellow disk spin, if so if is receiving data, if not then the com ports are wrong, also try setting it as other cabled NMEA device, set the baud speed then select the BT com port (I think its com6); to see the number put the device into landscape mode first, it just makes it easier. Once the disk is spinning take it all outside and wait, it could take 15 mins for the first fix - Mike

Hi Mike,

Thanks for the quick response.

You're a star - works like a charm.

Kev.

Brilliant.

This also works with an xda II.

Solved a problem I've had for a while.

Thanks.
