Hi all,

Looking to buy a replacement PDA to replace my Garmin cf que + ipaq. The A201 looks very interesting, especially with the SiRF Star III GPS chipset and the bluetooth hands free phone option. So my first question is:

I assume the hands free phone feature works like the Tomtom 500/700 (or say Parrot BT hands free phone kit), in that you pair your phone with the PDA, then when the phone receives a call you can press a button to accept the call, then have a "conversation" with the pda/hear the caller? If anybody has tried this, what is the quality like? Or should I just buy a proper hands free phone solution? Less devices stuck on the dashboard is better though!

Getting info on Miomap seems a bit tricky - nothing much on the mio-tech website. I believe it is based on Navigon 5, using Navteq maps.

Can anyone confirm if the Channel Islands are included in the maps (as they are on my Garmin also using Navteq data). As I live here, it would be nice to get a bit of local use.

Also any comments on Miomap. Navigon 5 looks quite comprehensive (and very grey!). Is it good software, or should I look at Tomtom instead (but lose the CI maps).

Thanks in advance!

MioMap is based on TeleAtlas mapping - and my Mio 269 shows the Channel Islands but not the roads!!!

Thanks Ray, that's helpful of them! Reading about the A201, a couple of retailers are claiming MioMap comes with Navteq POI's, and so I assumed it must have Navteq maps.
