How many stops can Co pilot optimize

This is the holy grail of the multidrop driver. Being able to enter a start and finish point and all the intermediate stops and let the sat nav sort them in to the quickest/shortest route order. I have Tomtom 5 and obviously it won't do this, but is good in most other respects. So how many stops will Co Pilot optimize? Is it very good at it? Reading other posts here Co Pilot seems to be a bit buggy in comparison with Tomtom. Are there still problems?
