landscape v potrait sorted

there has been many discusions on this topic wich is best ,
well i tried a little experiment today ,i have tt5 210 on my pda and tt5 on my works pda i set one up in potrait the other in landscape ,
the myth that you chop of the forward direction is totaly untrue you see EXACTLY the same the difference in landscape is that you see more to the sides ,you can see bends coming better if they were of the map in potrait ,also the text is larger ..but you do not loose ant forward vision at all .
