Just bought a TomTom!

I've had a TomTom 2 for a day now, and I'm really impressed! I'm using it with a Toshiba e330. I had a little trouble activating it, but now it seems to work fine.



Hopefully it'll see an end to arguments caused by maps when we go on holidays/day trips!



I've seen that you can download speed camera POIs. How do people get on with these? Do they work well? I see this as an added bonus if it works, but I'd like to know your views before I buy one of the databases.

I too have just purchased TT2 Bluetooth for use with my iPAQ2210 and I must say I am very immpressed. I used to own the Navman3400 but the lure of custom POI's was too much. I've notice the time to fix is much quicker than with the Navman.



Tried the speed camera POIs at the weekend and they worked a treat, with a lovely female voice giving me advance warning of their nearby location

I know what you mean, personally I really can't see why any company doesn't support Custom POI's. Personally for me it's a no brainer. It allows you to compliment the system with a much better set of POI's and utilise them when you need to.
