It would seem using a Hex editor that you could edit the Warning message:

Do not attempt to enter route information or adjust this device while driving. Failure to pay full attention ...............

If you change it in both 042901000270.rgn and 050501000270.rgn files before you upgraded to 2.7. as long as you did not change the length of the message which is set to fit the screen.

You could change it to something personalised. Change it to this Garmin I3 belongs to. Whatever, well what ever !
