Go (300) power supply

I don't want the cigarette lighter power supply dangling across my car fascia - I move it so that I can get at a switch, and I always seem to move it in front of the next switch I want.

But there is so much in the permanent mounting kit I don't want either - antenna, radio/cd mute, automatic colour switching etc. And I certainly don't want to spend £100 plus fitting.

All I want is a mount with a power supply. Or just a 5v power supply coming out of the dash into the windscreen mount with the correct connector.

Any suggestions?

Get an In-line cigar lighter socket from Maplins or car spares shop, and wire it in parallel with the existing socket (you can use those speed-loc crimp connectors if you've got them). Plug the Go supply into that and lose the whole lot behind the dashboard. A small hole in the dash and a rubber grommet for neatness, and there you go!

(Just a reminder to everyone; don't be tempted to cut off the cigar-lighter adapter and only use the cable, as it reduces the 12V down to 5V for the Go. 12V+Go=smoke)
