Software Prices

I've discussed my software needs elsewhere, but it looks like I've narrowed things down to Tom Tom Navigator 5.1 or ALK CoPilot 6. I'm located in the US, but need both US and Europe (more specifically UK) maps.

In comparing on-line prices, I can get TTN 5.1, both mapsets for about $250-300. A lot, but discounted from list.

Trying to find CoPilot 6, it seems like I would have to order only US maps from the US, having to an overseas vendor to get the UK maps. And the best price I could find is $200 for the US maps and $300 for the Europe maps, $500 total!

Is CoPilot worth twice the price over TTN 5.1? Does anybody know where I can get some better pricing on CoPilot for both US and Europe mapsets? If I decide on CoPilot, I'm willing to pay a little more, but their current pricing model is extreme to say the least!
