TT5 traveling across multiple US state maps

I have the Palm version of TT5 (Treo 650) with several states. I've used TT5 many times within the same state and it's fine but I can't figure out how to set a destination across a different state than one starting in. It seems to only work with one map at a time. Could this be or am I missing something.

If TT5 can't navigate across all states for a trip, it's going back and I'm switching back to Destinator on PPC.

This program is not very intuitive compared to Destinator. Also frustrating that you can't click on a POI on the main screen or drag the main screen map around as Destinator does.

you can install one of teh major roads maps, Major Roads of USA or Major Cities of USA (which is the MRoUSA map PLUS a number of city areas in full detail.

With the itineray planner you can plan a route over multiple maps. You can only add waypoints from the active map. Switch to your destination map. Add your destination to the itinerary. Now switch to the Major Roads/Cities map. Go back to Itinerary and start navigating.
It will bring you to the nearest major road, and then to your destination. When you are within your destination map, you can switch to this high detail map for the last stretch of your trip

Disappointing how TT does this. I hope they improve this in future versions as it's hardly acceptable.
