TT5 and HP Ipaq 2110

I have installed TT5 upgrade onto my HP ipaq 2110, previously using TT3. I think I have configured the GPS correctly !! I have an Arkon Powered GPS receiver and mount. I used "other wired" in the options and baud rate 4800. Com port 1... I have waited a full 10 mins stationery and driven around for 20 - 30 mins - but still no GPS found?? HELP please...

I did try using TT site and submitting a question, but site crashed it back at me...

any replies will be gratefully received

when in the GPS section of tomtom:
Tap on the screen, change preferences, preference 4 of 6, GPS

Do you get a spinning circle top right of the screen or does it not move?
Do you get no GPS device or GPS signal was lost?

Make sure you dont have any external keyboard drivers installed and make sure you turn IR of the PDA. Click on start, settings, connection, beam, untick the box.
