Does anyone use a Soundfeeder/type FM Transmitter to run TT through their PDA tothe car radio.
I have just purchased an Arkon FM Transmitter and find it is useless due
to the closeness of the available frequencies.
Comments please.

i went through the same exercise with my itrip for my ipod. this website gives all the national/regional/local radio stations & frequencies, its easy then to cross off which ones you cant use, so you are left with the ones you can. I only found 3 frequencies that were not used anywhere in the uk, so unless you travel the whole of the uk, you should be safe just to illiminate the national and regional frequencies.

hope it helps |

Just so you are aware these devices are illegal to use in this country, the cross with the frequencies in use depends on where you live - try the 106MHz or above if the device will support it - these frequencies are seldom used, a better solution is to take the audio output from the PDA and feed it straight into the AUX input of the car unit (if it will do this) - make sure the volume is at min on the PDA or you could damage the speakers, this how I have the audio connected in the car, the radio TX unit is reserved for the hire cars - mike |
