Hi All

For some reason my TT5 has stopped launching from my today screen. I suspect it is something to do with the tttoday.dll file as I can run the programme from elsewhere on my PDA. Anyone got any idea how to recover and get it to launch from my today screen entry again??

Thanks Bill

You could try to reinstall the program onto your PDA (notice I said program and not the map). This should ask you if you want to overwrite existing programs like bluetooth, GPS and I believe the tttoday.dll as well.

Let me know how you get on.

Well I tried doing a reinstallation now and its still the same. When I try to activate the software from the today screen entry my PDA it simply double bleeps like it does when it cant find something. Got me beaten as this has always worked fine until now. Any further comments or suggestions welcomed!!

If you into start, settings and then today, there is ther option to chose which items there are on the today screen. Is tomtom on there and if so, is it checked??

Yes TomTom is there in the listing and it is checked to appear on the today screen. If I uncheck it it obviously goes from the today screen but when checked it certainly appears there.
