Alternative to TTG's absent AC charger?

As TT no longer supply an AC charger in the box (though their *manuals* say it's there!), can I use any 5V AC charger (e.g. from mobile phone) or a "universal" AC charger with the TTG 300. without lashing out yet more cash for the charger now advertised by TT as an "acessory"??

Not sure if a mobile phone charger will fit but an "iPAQ" charger definitely will (the older, round plug version). They are plentiful on eBay.
