help BT77GPS and IPAQ2210

I have just purchased a 2nd hand HP IPaq 2210 with what I beleive is a BT77 bluetooth GPS and TOMTOM5.

I can pair up with GPS and it flashes away but if I check connection status it says connected but no bytes received or sent. Signal strength comes up blue - just right.

In Bluetooth active connections I get outgoing connections : BT GPS SPP Slave and Incoming connections : nothing.

It also drops the connection after about 1-2 mins.

When you open tomtom it says no GPS device!

I am assured this worked before it was posted.

Do I need to know configuration instructions - what are they?
Should there be an instruction manual or software disk?

Can anyone HELP?! Crying or Very sad

Select other wired NMEA device in the gps set-up screen, put in the correct baud speed for your device and on the final screen select the bluetooth com port - mike
