Hello:
With TTN3 it was possible to plan a route from "A"->"B" while located at "C" and save it for future use. However, TTN5 does not seem to allow this. While one can plan such a route with "Advanced Planning" there does not seem to be provision for saving the result as one can with an itinerary.
Can anyone tell me how this can be done with a simple routine?
Thanks in advance for any assistance that may be forthcoming. _________________ H-P H2200 iPac Pocket PC, 64MB RAM

Thanks for the reply, Lutz.
I created an itinerary C>A>B and tried to copy and paste to Word using File Explorer but found that I could not paste to Word. How do I go about creating and modifying an .itn file?
Sorry to be a Homer. _________________ H-P H2200 iPac Pocket PC, 64MB RAM

Hey, that works! Thanks, men.
The following was a trip I made a month or two ago:
-48962|5142156|Brightside Avenue, Laleham (Surrey)|4|
-38582|5143966|Rae's Place, Hanworth, Hanworth (Middlesex)|1|
-143553|5376050|Bridge Farm Hotel, Swillingdon|3|
-137739|5379612|Bar Lane, East Garforth (West Yorkshire)|3|
I was able to succesfully delete the departure ("4" above) and replace it with Hanworth as the departure (1>4) and it loads and works nicely, thank you.
One thing, though. Departure point appears to be "4", waypoints "1" and destinations "3". Does this make sense? What, if anything, is "2"? And does it really matter, anyway? _________________ H-P H2200 iPac Pocket PC, 64MB RAM

On the Go, which I am more familiar with, 0 is Waypoint, 1 is Visited and 2 is Destination. I haven't got a Departure Option.
But on that basis, it is possible that your '2' is used for Visited, one of the Options in Itinerary Options. _________________ Richard

Thanks for the reply, Oldboy.
I had actually uninstalled TTN5 and gone back to TTN3 as I was underwhelmed by "5", so tried the change with "3", which worked. I can only assume that each system has it's own assignments.
My own personal feeling about TTN5 was that it had a lot of functionality I didn't need (although many people might), and it had lost some of the functionality I wanted. So I'm happy with "3" - just wish the maps were more up to date.
Thanks to all for the assistance, much appreciated. _________________ H-P H2200 iPac Pocket PC, 64MB RAM

It's called bitwise operations
bit 2: departure
bit 1: destination
bit 0: visited
All combinations from 0 to 7 are possible, but obviously 6 and 7 don't make sense. _________________ Lutz
