iPaq 2490 / TTN6 volume questions...

I have my SatNav system comprising iPaq 2490 and TTN6 and am very impressed! However, am a little disappointed at the volume level.

Couple of questions...

I have Tomtom volume set to max but it still seems pretty low! Any way to improve it?

I am planning on purchasing Brodit mount kit... including speaker. Does the speaker make a significant difference?

(Maybe it's my age and I'm getting hard of hearing )

I had the same problem soI bought a powered mount from morpethmobiles about £28 works really well.
