On initial hotsync to place TT5 on my T3 it hung saying "syncronising acropilot.prc" Cancelled out, deleted acropilot (which is from adobe) from t3 and desktop. Despite this I still see acropilot during hotsync (I think docs to go may use it). There was a Navigator icon on the T3 so put the GB plus maps onto my SD card. When I click on Navigator it flashes "armcode not allocated"
Started again. Deleted Navigator and maps, made sure desktop software updated to 4.1.4. Hotsync for navigator seemed to work fine. Used a card reader to load maps after formatting the SD on the palm and it still says "armcode not allocated"
What am I doing wrong? |

Sorted it myself. Altho it seemed like it was synching acropilot for ages and I cancelled it, actually it was still going ahead with download. |

Armcode error occurs when the system does not have enough cache(heap) memory for TomTom to load. |

or as I found out when you cancel the loading before it's finished so there are files missing |

This happens on my Treo 650 on a regular basis, sometimes it automatically resets, other times I have to reset it. A reset forces a flushing of the heap memory, I wondered is why it happens & it worked after a reset. _________________ Skoda Columbus and for emergencies: TomTom + iPhone 4 & TomTom car kit |

Never had it happen on mine maybe there's a conflict with something else running on your Treo 8O |
