what a blunder, instead of reading the instructions on tom tom update web site I jumped in and installed the 5.1 update on my Ipaq 2210 pda only to find out later it says not for the 2210,please tell me that I have not damaged the installation as it seems to be working ok at the moment but I have not used it on a long journey as yet.and if I may ask another question as I have a 256mb sd card with tom tom GB installed ,can I just install other countries "maps only" on other sd cards without installing the complete tt prog.
thanks guys
ps at least the update got my poi and faviorits working again which I kept loosing . |

I think you will find that it is not for the 2110, it is for the easier use of 3rd party gps receiver systems as stated on the TomTom web site, and mine has not failed ,never given me any problems at all,so i,mm happy _________________ Iphone x 64gb IOS 11.3.1 / IPhone 6 Plus 32gb IOS 12 beta /Volkswagen Scirocco R 280 bhp /Suzuki Vitara swb vvt+ /Suzuki Jimny special/running Apple Mac Mini / Apple air/ iPhone x /6 plus navigation / Apple car-play |

Thanks for your reply Mr T yep I now realise it was for the 2110 (I see you made the same mistake as me calling it the 2110 instead of the 2210 ) re the card I have a spare 128 mb sd card which I thought I could load up wih another map only and use that. as my 256 mb card will not take another map.many thanks for your interest and advice.btw are the compact flash cards that you use better than the SD cards for use with tom tom on the 2210 thanks again |

I have found that CF card is as much the same as the SD card as regards speed ect,but maybe i little bit cheaper on your pocket _________________ Iphone x 64gb IOS 11.3.1 / IPhone 6 Plus 32gb IOS 12 beta /Volkswagen Scirocco R 280 bhp /Suzuki Vitara swb vvt+ /Suzuki Jimny special/running Apple Mac Mini / Apple air/ iPhone x /6 plus navigation / Apple car-play |
