cannot connect nokia 7610 to bluetooth gps device

ive got a bluetooth gps unit which i use on my pda with no problems. when ive tried connecting to a nokia 7610, it pairs up and even the gps status shows something happening with the bars moving but the message says waiting for gps signal. when i look at the pairing the phone says its connected to a headset. does anyone have any ideas as to what i could be doing wrong?

Are you connecting to the bluetooth GPS through TomTom or through the Connections menu on your 7610?

Try deleting the pairing with the Bluetooth GPS in the Connections menu on your 7610. The re-establish a pairing between your phone and GPS and set the connection to 'automatic' - hopefully this will work :D
