SD Card Not able to see Mapsonic Via Michelin map

I followed the Via Michelin suggestion and copied an exported portion of a map to a folder called Mapsonic maps on my SD card using a reader. While the card is in the reader I can see the file and it appears to be OK, right size and icon.

However when I have the card in the Tungsten E pda and open Mapsonic software I can only see the small map I exported onto the handheld itself. Looking at the card in Mapsonic there is nothing visible. Also when I go to the Home view of the card it appears to be blank but Card Info shows the presence of a file of the right size.

Can anybody help me please? The Mapsonic program files are still on the SD card. Would that be a problem?
