tomtom 5 - cant see maps?? HELP!!!

Im using tomtom v5 on my C500 Smartphone, but I am unable to see the maps!

I need to get the France, Italy and Switzerland maps working for my holiday - however so far tomtom can only see Switzerland.

Anyone got any ideas why the other maps arent showing up?

They are in directories on the phones SD card - please help!!!

Im glad its not just me i cant get GB map it goes from I AGREE screen to NO MAPS!

Try using Tomtom Navigator 5 maps - I got some from a mate thinking they wouldnt work, but surprisingly they do!

Just been round Europe using Nav5 maps on Mobile5 and worked a treat!

Im not sure how up-to-date the maps are however, my mate bought them last year, but there were a few new round-abouts and road sections in France that werent on the map.

hey dude I had the same problem. MAKE SURE YOU ONLY TRANSFER MAPS IN YOUR MOBILE THROUGHA CARD READER.they are coming in laptops nowadays plus avaialble external as well.It wont work if you transfer the maps through data cable,bluetooth or infrared.You need to transfer through the card reader only for it to work.
