Does anyone know if the Rhino 530 will be released in Europe? The original Rhinos were never released.
Thanks for your help. _________________ Thanks,

It is likely that it would be too much trouble to get this model type approved for use in Europe and they have decided not to market it here.
Although it may be illegal to use a Rino here in Europe, there is nothing stopping you from buying one from America and using it here. _________________ Gone fishing! |

Well, illegal might be a rather strong word. I doubt that you would get arrested and thrown in jail for using them, but a retailer would probably get in trouble for selling them here.
I have an iTrip FM radio transmitter for my iPod which is illegal for use in the UK but I still use it. While it might be illegal the 12 feet or so that it transmits is nothing compared to the numerous pirate radio stations in London... _________________ Gone fishing! |

It will never be released in Europe though it will not stop some shops selling it.
FM transmitter is different from walkie talkie and in turn different from pirate radio station.
Police in some countries do listen to illegal transmissions and track them down. _________________ Pc-Mobile

Shame really - this is such a really useful tool.
Especially when Skiing - you're always loosing people.
There are some extra bands on this one which I was hoping would make it usable in Europe. _________________ Thanks,
